Acetaminophen Dosing Instructions
Children’s acetaminophen is available over the counter for the temporary
reduction of fever and relief of minor aches and pains due to colds, sore throat,
flu, headaches and toothaches for patients 2 months of age and older. Age is
provided as a convenience only, dosing should be based on weight of your child.
The most common GI adverse reaction is nausea. Acetaminophen is marketed under
the names Tylenol®, Tempra®, and Feverall® (suppository form).
