Dear Parents,

My name is Margie Melendez and I am the manager over Billing and Insurance. I began working at Town and Country Pediatrics in 1983 as the Billing, Insurance, and Collection Clerk. As business increased, we began to add more billing clerks. In 1998, I was promoted to my current position as the Billing and Insurance Manager, working with a team of five billing specialists.

It is my responsibility to ensure that all patient account information is correct and filed in the appropriate time frame with their insurance carrier. I am also responsible for patient billing, the posting of insurance payments and patient payments on accounts, and collection of past due accounts.
