Thimerosal Free Pediatric Injectable Flu Vaccine is available at all offices!

Town and Country Pediatrics has just received a partial shipment of thimerosal free injectable flu vaccine for children ages 6-35 months. This vaccine will be offered to all current Town and Country patients.

If your child is allergic to eggs, he/she should not receive flu vaccine. 

If this is the first time your child will be receiving flu vaccine then he/she should receive 2 doses one month apart.

If your child has never eaten eggs, he/she must wait in the office after the flu vaccine is administered for 20 minutes- please allow for this time while scheduling your appointments.

As always, Flu Mist nasal vaccine (always thimerosal free) is available (equally if not more effective than injectable) for our healthy patients ages 5 and older.

A limited amount of thimerosal free injectable flu vaccine is now available for children ages 3 and older.
